HOST AN EVENT FOR GIRLS IN STEM

Apply for the Girls Science Club Grant

Applications due by January 6th, 2025.
Our "Girls Science Club" grant aims to inspire young women and girls by intertwining the fascinating world of scientific discovery with the engaging power of films. This grant seeks to fund organizations committed to organizing screenings of MacGillivray Freeman Films’ documentary Superhuman Body: World of Medical Marvels for the girls in their programs, followed by a scientist's interactive talk.
These events highlight female role models in various scientific fields, demonstrating the exciting opportunities and real-world applications of scientific research. We aim to stimulate curiosity, foster a love of science, and encourage more girls to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. The Superhuman Body team has designed this event to reach girls of all backgrounds, especially including African American and Hispanic youth because they are underrepresented in the medical fields.
